No matter what kind of projects you do online to earn money, it's important to keep a few rules of online work in your mind to avoid any problems and to keep on working smoothly. Working online is easy in terms of time management, location independence and freedom, but it's also a bit more tricky and prone to frauds. - While online work, never share your personal information with any person. Avoid extra trust on any one. I know a friend who lost control of all his websites just because he trusted a online team worker.
- While working on projects online, never hesitate to ask questions and to clarify requirements. Remember that the key of success in online work is a "good work". If you perform great in a project, you will get more project and if you don't, one thing is sure that you will lose at least one great employer.
- Never trust an employer so much that you lose whole of your earning. Once your earnings reach to a certain level; say $100, ask your employer to send it to you. One of my friends had extra ordinary trust on an online employer. His earnings kept on accumulated with the employer till it reached to $1000. Now when he asked employer to pay, all of a sudden, employer disappeared and didn't respond. He kept on mailing but employer didn't respond and hence he lost a big chunk of earning!!!
- Although you are your own boss when working online, it's important to have a strong self control. Manage your time and resources in such a way that you don't fall in any delays for project deliverable.
- Never try to jump into such projects which you can't do easily. It's better to do less than doing wrong.
- Key to success in online jobs is a strong collaboration and link building. Once you have done some work with an employer, keep his contact details saved. Keep him in contact in future so that for any future work, he considers you again.
